Mrs.
Annie Bell Bryant, loving mother, grandmother, and
great-grandmother, entered into eternal rest on
Friday, December 23, 2005
. She was born
August 13, 1913

Florence
,
SC
where she was lovingly reared and nurtured by her mother, Rosa
Belva Williams. She enjoyed most of her life in
Winston-Salem
,
NC
where she worked for
Kate
Bitting
Memorial
Hospital
and
Baptist
Hospital
.
Mrs. Bryant was a former
member of
Hanes
Memorial
CME
Church
, and in later life a faithful member of The Messiah's House
where she was the Mother of the church and an active
participant in many church organizations. She was a member of
the Eastern Star, Magnolia Chapter 168 and Daughter of Isis,
Bright Hope Court
.
Those who were blessed
to know her will remember her zeal and passion for life.
Preceding her in death
was her son, Earl Crockett and mother, Rosa Belva Williams.
She leaves to cherish
dear memories to a devoted daughter, Mary Webster; three
granddaughters, Gloria (Otto) Jeffries, Sylvia Webster, and
Teresa Earlene Crockett; two grandsons, Jarvis Webster, Jr.
and Mazzini Webster, Sr.; ten great-grandchildren; two great,
great-grandchildren; devoted friends, Willie Mae Carson and
Francis Pender; and a host of other relatives and friends in
the immediate and extended family.
Funeral Services will be
held at
1 pm
Wednesday, December 28, 2005
at The Messiah's House,
3980 North Liberty Street
,
Winston-Salem
,
NC
, with Dr. Michael K. Williams, officiating. Interment will
follow in
Piedmont
Memorial
Gardens
. Family will receive friends from
Noon
until
1 pm
Wednesday at the church.
