Wanda Marie Lee Jones was born October 15, 1946 in Berkeley, California along with her twin sister, Saundra Cephas to Paul William Lee and Evelyn Mildred Butler. She also had an older sister, Paulette Caw (deceased). Wanda leaves to cherish her memory a husband of forty-four years Richard Jones, Jr.; two sons, Edward Bunker (Dana), Roman Bunker, an adopted son, George White, III; a daughter, Tye Coe; daughter-in-law, Pamela Bunker; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and Church family.

Wanda put on Christ at an early age and never turned back. She comes from a long line of faithful believers. She was always involved in Church activities. She also recently held the position of Executive Administrative Assistant at Quality Independent Living in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, May 23, 2026 at Carver Road Church of Christ, 4399 Carver School Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27105. Entombment will follow in Forsyth Memorial Park. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
