Kelvin Bradley Foote was born on Friday, February 13, 1959 in Iredell County to William Charles Rose and Shirley Ann Feimster. He was lovingly adopted and raised by George and Mary Foote. On May 20, 2026 he peacefully departed this life at the Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home.
Kelvin was a proud graduate of North Forsyth High School, Class of 1977. He joined New Bethel Baptist Church at an early age. He went on to serve four years in the United States Army. Kelvin loved and enjoyed all sports, but he was most fond of NFL football. His team, the Las Vegas Raiders, whom he affectionately referred to as “them bad boys” was his all-time favorite.
He was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Geoge and Mary Foote; his biological father, William Charles Rose; one brother, Tory Feimster; and one sister, Helen Lowery.
Cherishing his memory are his birth mother, Shirley All Feimster of Statesville, NC; three children, Kelvin B. Foote, II, Thshun White, and Terrance Jarrett; one grandson, Terrance Jarrett, Jr. of Winston-Salem, NC; seven brothers, Jerry (Sue) Leach of Clemmons, NC, Brian Feimster, Keith (Donna) Lackey, and Craig Lackey of Statesville, NC, Charles “Pete” Stevenson of Harmony, NC, William Rose and Wendall Rose of Charlotte, NC; seven sisters, Tina Stevenson, Cynthia Leach, Felicia McKoy, and Dawn Feimster of Statesville, NC, Karen Rose of Raleigh, NC, Carletta (Arnez) Hallinguest of Barnwell, SC, and Stephanie Rose of Winston-Salem, NC; one aunt, Eva Leach McWillis of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
