Zola Reynolds Paul, 69, was born on April 10, 1949 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to Mrs. Johnsie McLean Wallace and Mr. A.W. Wallace. She was raised by her parents, Mrs. Laura Reynolds and Mr. Dave Reynolds. She transitioned from this life on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at her residence. Zola graduated from Atkins High School in 1967. She attended Howard University and Forsyth Technical Community College. She worked as a teacher's assistant for several years before working at Hanes Hosiery for 15 years; and later retiring as a Nurse's Assistant at Novant Pellcare Nursing facility after 15 years of service. She was married to Mr. Billy Ray Paul for 48 years.

Zola touched many lives. She was a very kind and thoughtful individual. She was always a support to her family and friends.

Zola was preceded in death by her parents Mrs. Johnsie McLean Wallace, Mr. A. W. Wallace, Mrs. Laura Reynolds, and Mr. Dave Reynolds; brother, Bernard Wallace; and her son, Brian Paul.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Mr. Billy Ray Paul; sons, Charles (Faith) and Keith (Tangela); 8 grandchildren, Charles Jr., Shakeia, Quan, Kayla, Chandler, Pasiley, Keith Jr., and Kaiden; 2 great grandchildren, Jermiah and Keema; sisters, Janet, Carolyn, Jennie, Cynthia, and Glenice; brothers, Ronald, Tim, and Stacy; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 12:00noon until 1:00pm on Tuesday at the Chapel.
