Obituary

Ms. Yvonne Quevette Bradley-Glenn was born December 26, 1952 in Winston-Salem, NC to Queen Smith Bradley and Troy Bradley.

Following an extended period of illness, she went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on April 8, 2022 at Trinity Glen Nursing Facility.

Quevette, as she was affectionately known, was raised in the city, and grew up in the Columbia Terrace Community. She attended WSFC Schools and was a 1971 graduate of North Forsyth High School. A Baptist by faith, she was raised in Mars Hill Baptist Church, and later became a member of New Hope Missionary Baptist Church. She attended Carver Road Christian Church until her health failed.

Quevette was the light that shined bright when she entered any room. She retired from the City of Winston-Salem in the Administration Department. She was a former member of RM Fellowship Choir, and Messengers for Christ Choir.

Her presence, laughter and smile will be missed by everyone she came in contact with throughout her life. She was preceded in death by her father; maternal grandparents, Lewis Smith and Matoker Diggs Clyburn; paternal grandparents, Anna Johnson and Stroy Bradley; aunts, Carrie Mae Smith, Jeretha Love, Pearl Robinson, and Annie Sawyer; and cousin, Connie Posey.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her mother; two sons, Christchon Bradley and Robert Jamal Glenn; former husband, Robert Glenn; step-daughter, Myrtice Hunter; sister, Anna (Clarence) Hauser; brother, Bobby Bradley; God-sister, Jackie (John) Reeder; grandchildren, Torika House and Kristen Bradley; great-grandson, Argie Lewis; aunts, Lula Scott of Delaware, Gwendolyn Lash and Fannie Brigham of Philadelphia, PA; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The family would like to extend special thank you to the staff at Trinity Glen Nursing Facility.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.
