Mr. Willis J. Thomas passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2011. He was born March 17, 1932 in Yadkin County to the late Jean and Cora Thomas.
He retired from the City of Winston-Salem.
He was a longstanding member and Elder of Dellabrook Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Adline Thomas; two daughters, Vanessa (Tim) Harris and Lisa (Keith) McWilliams; two granddaughters, Jonnah and Briana; two brothers, Floyd (Lottie) Thomas and Franklin M. Thomas; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Friday, March 18, 2011 at Dellabrook Presbyterian Church with Dr. A.G. Eversley officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:00pm on Friday at the church.
