Williemae Bishop Grasty was called to her heavenly home on Tuesday, February 2, 2016. Williemae was born to Leroy and Willie Lela Bishop on April 24, 1935 in Winston-Salem, NC. She was a graduate of Atkins High School and a retiree of Novant Health.

Williemae was the cherished mother of seven children, Felecia Huff, Lernevetta Holly, Carsenia Carpenter, Carson Grasty, Jr., William Derrick Grasty (deceased), Harlan Grasty, and April Grasty; one sister, Rubie B. Gilbert; she leaves to cherish her memory 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Friday, February 5, 2016 at Friendship Baptist Church with Reverend Dennis Bishop officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
