Mr. Willie J. Davis of 3020 Woodfin Place, Winston-Salem, NC entered into his eternal rest on December 9, 2007 at Forsyth Medical Center after a brief illness.

Mr. Davis was born in Henderson, NC on July 4, 1919.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Davis and Rosa Junio and his loving wife, Daisy Goode Davis.

Mr. Davis is survived by two step-daughters, Elder Sarah Robinson and Mattie (Lee) Fowler; three step-sons, James (Susie) Henry, William (Teresa) Goode, and Edward (Clark) Goode all of Winston-Salem, NC; a loving and devoted granddaughter and caregiver with whom he lived, Sarina D. Williams; and host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1pm Saturday, December 15, 2007 from the Second Calvary Baptist Church with Pastor Donald S. Stowe officiating. Entombment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Saturday at the Church.
