Early Monday morning , November 19, 2019, Mr. Willie Lorenzo "Lo" Giles passed away peacefully at Summerstone Health and Rehabilitation Center in Kernersville, NC.

Lo was born on October 22, 1930 to the late John Wesley "Charlie" and Ethel Miller Giles in Winston-Salem, NC. He was educated in the Forsyth County School system. Lo was a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church for many years.

Lo retired from RJ Reynolds Tobacco Company in 1989 after over 39 years of service. Lo enjoyed the sport of boxing and golf. He assisted in the training of many local youth in the sport of boxing.

Lo was proceeded in death by his parents; wife, Mrs. Lucille B. Giles; children, Demorie Robinson and Maria Giles Cody; two grandsons, Samuel J. Cody, Jr. and Tori J. Cody; identical twin brother, Mr. Robert "Bobby" Giles and brothers, James Giles, Johnny Giles, and Townsend Giles; and sister Ruth G. Lowe.

Lo leaves to cherish his memories a daughter, Debra (Tyrone) Hatchett; one son, Terrance (Felecia) Giles; a son-in-law, Samuel Cody; grandchildren, Tyron (Natisa) Hatchett, Khyanna Hatchett, Paris Giles, Danielle (Ivan) Jones, Terrance Giles, Jr., LaShay (LaDarius) Fox, Justin (Jessie) Bennett, and Isaiah Giles; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth (Henry) Hairston; eleven great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Verlie Fields officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Tuesday at the Chapel.
