Willie "Hannibal" Anderson, Jr. was born to Willie H. Anderson, Sr. and Rosa L. People on March 23, 1961. Willie transitioned to a resting place on January 13, 2017 at his home.

Willie received his education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools and was a graduate of West Forsyth High School.
To know Willie was to love Willie. His laughter, smile, and spirit would change the atmosphere to a beautiful one in any room he walked in.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents.

He leaves to cherish his memories one brother, Charles Anderson of Winston-Salem, NC; five sisters, Crystal Hairston of Browns Summit, NC, Ruthie Powell and Elaine Montgomery both of Winston-Salem, NC, Carole People of New York, and Vivian Young of Roxboro, NC; three devoted friends, Maurice Wright, Dave & Michelle Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Thursday at the Church.
