Obituary
William Leon Toney, Jr. transitioned from this life on Friday, September 26, 2014 at Forsyth Medical Center. William was born on December 15, 1971 in Winston-Salem, NC and was the son of William Leon Toney, Sr. and Bernice Crews Toney.
He graduated from North Forsyth High School and attended A&T State University. He excelled in his musical talent while playing the trumpet, French horn, and piano. William also had a love for cars, while maintaining his own spotless vehicle. He spent most of his professional career at Hayward Industries where he loved to work.
He is survived by his parents, William and Bernice Toney; two sons, Tre Leon and Jordan Tally Toney; one sister, Patrice Y. Toney; a special friend, Charito "Chat" Posey; and a host of other beloved family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at St. John CME Church, 350 NW Crawford Place W-S, NC 27105. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Tuesday at the Church.
