Obituary
William Napoleon Mason, Jr. passed away January 26, 2009.
"Billie" attended the local public schools in Winston-Salem. He then decided to attend the historic Palmer Memorial Institute and graduated in 1967. He then attended Johnson C. Smith University and the University of Ohio at Dayton where he received his degree in engineering. Billie was employed at Winston-Salem State University and was dearly loved and respected by his community and co-workers. He was an avid mechanic repairing anything in site and an avid computer technician where he worked diligently in helping others use and repair them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William N. Mason, Sr. and Mary Etta Brown Mason in 1991 and 1996 respectively.
William is survived by his wife, Bonny of the city; one daughter, Stephaniea of New York; one sister, Sylvia of Elizabeth City, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, January 30, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Eunice Woods officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2pm on Friday at the Chapel.
