Obituary
Mr. William Ray Leak, also known as "Billy Ray", went home to be with his master on September 8, 2008.
He was born January 30, 1960 to Ella Mae Peak and Charles Aaron Leak, Sr. of Forsyth County.
He was a life-long resident of Winston-Salem and a custodian for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System. He was also educated in Electronic Repair.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
Mr. Leak is survived by his daughter, Brenita Howard of Rural Hall, NC; a son, William Howard of Rural Hall, NC; a granddaughter, Elana Faith Archer; his father, Charles Aaron (Shirley) Leak, Sr. ; two sisters, Cheryl (JW) Holiday and Karen (Donald) Watson; three brothers, Charles Leak, Jr., Christopher (Iris) Leak, and Brian (Tina) Leak; one aunt; three uncles; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, a devoted friend, Angela Evans; God-mother, Minnie Evans; a future son-in-law, John Archer; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon Saturday, September 13, 2008 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Ronnie Peoples officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12 Noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
