Mr. Will Williams, Jr. peacefully entered into eternal rest of November 1, 2017 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home. He was born in Shelton, South Carolina to Will Williams and Lena Goodwin Williams. He was a retired employee of McClean Trucking Company, and was the owner of Community Shoe Repair Shop on Patterson Avenue until he retired in 2014.

Known by most of his friends as June Bug, he was a master of his craft in taking an old pair of shoes and restoring them like new. He was a lover of football, basketball, baseball, and old western shows.

He was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Williams; parents, Will & Lena Williams, Sr.; sister, Hattie Lyles; brother, James Williams; and brothers-in-law, Oscar Beal and Thomas McConnell. He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Corrine Astrop Williams of the home; sons, Willie Williams, James Williams, William Ingram and Clarence Williams; daughters, Velda (Dean) Smith and Lydia (Larry) Flynt; sisters, Sadie Beal and Louise McConnell of South Carolina; sister-in-law, Patricia (Jesse) Clyburn; nineteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; special friends, Leroy Reynolds, Cornelius Scales, Tina & Hubert Lash, and Helen Lewis; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Dennis Leach officiating. Interment will follow in Parklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held at 11:00am prior to the service.
