Mr. Wilbur Jacob Williamson, affectionately known as "Bugsby", was born June 11, 1938 in Darlington County SC to Ervin and Nancy Williamson. He passed away quietly with his family at his side on Monday October 19, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.

Mr. Williamson moved to Winston-Salem in 1966 where he met and married Jessie Williamson. He retired from Thomasville Furniture Company after 40 years of service. He attended Macedonia Holiness Church until his health failed.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Jessie Williamson; his father and mother, Ervin and Nancy Williamson; three brothers, John Williamson, Eugene Williamson and Romeo Williamson; four sisters, Jessie Mae Williamson, Sally Williamson, Virginia Williamson and Hattie Mae Gardner.

He leaves to cherish his memory one sister, Louise Williamson of Darlington SC; four brothers, Ervin (Betty) Williamson of the city, Willie James (Annie Lou) Williamson and Arthur (Lucy) Williams of Darlington SC, and Clemons Williams of Hartsville SC; a special friend, Carol Mills; a devoted niece and caregiver, Cynthia Thompson-Leverett (Kevin); and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Saturday, October 24, 2015 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 2:00pm until 2:30pm on Saturday at the Chapel.
