Obituary
Mr. Wesley L. Thacker, 71, was born in Winston-Salem, NC on August 11, 1943 to Robert Graham and Marjorie Thacker. He departed this life on August 21, 2014.
Wesley graduated from Hampton University in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
He was a personal accountant at an insurance company, worked for H&R Block, and as a substitute teacher in New York City and Somerville, MA.
He was preceded in death by parents; and grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. Alease Graham.
Wesley is survived by his aunt Laura T. Kennedy; devoted friend, Franklin McCarroll; and host of cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alexis Allen officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
