Wendell Tyrone Robinson was born on August 30, 1950 and departed this life on February 12, 2013. He was the son of James Hood and Rachel Penn.
He was a renowned bass guitar player for the Superior Band and the Opus VII Band.
He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Rachel L. Davis Penn; his daughter, Keauna Robinson Ford (Elbert III); son, Brian Keith Miller; former wife whom he loved and cherished, Brenda Fair Robinson; eight sisters, Susan (Garland) Washington, Mary (Karl) Arterbery, Stephanie White, Renee Barr, Jenae Boston, Queenesther (Hubert) Jeffries, Janey (Waymond) Berry, Geraldine Barnes; two brothers, Joseph R. Penn and Xavier Crawford; five loving grandchildren; a host of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Monday, February 18, 2013 at the Genesis Victory Outreach Center with Reverend Clyde Lindsey officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12noon on Monday at the Church.
