Wayne Jerome Peoples, Sr. was born and raised in Winston-Salem, NC on August 18, 1957 and was called home to glory on October 2, 2014.

He was an honorable US Veteran with time served from 1976-1979.

Wayne is survived by his 3 children, Wayne J. Peoples, Jr., Shaun Lamont Peoples, and Creshia Latoria Peoples; daughter-in-law, Sagittarius Elena Peoples; 11 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; 3 sisters and 2 brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Wayne will be laid to rest at 11:30am Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Dwight Hash officiating. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 11:30am on Wednesday at the Church.
