Mr. Wayne Lenardo Pender, 51, passed away January 13, 2012 at West Carmel Hospital in Ohio. He was born January 16, 1960 in Winston-Salem, NC.
Survivors include his daughters, Kendra Scriven of Greensboro, NC and Kristen Scriven of W-S, NC; parents, Gwendolyn Stevenson Pender and Vernal L. Pender, Sr. of W-S, NC; one brother, Vernal L. Pender, Jr. (Beverly) of Chesapeake, VA; niece, Cameron Pender of Chesapeake, VA; special uncle, Ben Stevenson of St. Augustine, FL; a devoted aunt, Mary Jackson of W-S, NC; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
A family and friends gathering will be held at 11am Saturday, January 21, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
