Mrs. Virginia McGriff Nesbit McCullough, 87, went on to be with her Lord and Savior early Wednesday morning, May 30, 2018.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 40 years Rev. Ira McCullough; 2 daughters, Veronica Nesbit, Philadelphia, PA, Sonya (Byron) Penn, of the city; 2 sons, Norris Nesbit, Charlotte, NC, Calvin (Musette) Nesbit, of the city; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Alicia Barksdale of the city, Betty Magee of Texas City, TX; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Saturday, June 2, 2018 at Galilee Missionary Baptist Church, 4129 Northampton Drive, Winston-Salem, NC with Rev. Dr. Nathan Scovens officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot at Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 1:00pm until 2:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
