Virginia Lucille Little, whom everyone knew as "Ms. Talley" or "Grandma Talley", 70, of Winston-Salem, NC passed away on October 17, 2023 at Forsyth Medical Center.

She was born October 1, 1953 in Anson County, North Carolina and attended the Anson County Public Schools. She was truly loved by all and never met a stranger. Ms. Talley was a homemaker and caregiver, who looked after all her family members and friends.  She was a mother, grandmother and friend to all.

Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, Rufus, Jr. and Mattie Lee Little; her brother, George Little; and three sisters, Mary Ellen Rorie, Debra Ann Little, and Jacqueline Little.  She leaves to cherish precious memories, her five sons, Marvin (Robin) Little, Corey (Sherry) Little, Darryl (Sharmel) Little, Jashon Peay, and Rashon Peay; her six sisters, Mattie Ruth Little, Julia Graham, Vivian (Charles) Campbell, Sadie Bell Little, Annie Mae Little, and Loretta (Leonard) Brown; one brother, Larry Little; her four aunts, Louise Little, Wincy Harrington, Lilly Bell, and Creola; her seventeen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives, Goddaughters, cherished friends, and her longtime companion, Clarence Harris.  Also, we would like to give great thanks to the following ladies who were always there for her, Tina Kay Slade, Lakisha Marshall and Sandra Thomas.

Her favorite scripture was… Psalm 23 "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want."

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 11:30am until 12:00noon on Wednesday at the Chapel.
