Victor Ray Hanna was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 21, 1960 to LD Hanna, Sr. and Mary Singletary Hanna. He departed this life May 5, 2024.

He accepted Christ at an early age. While completing High School in Job Corp, Kitrell, NC, he was elected SGA President. Victor was also a veteran of the United States Army.

He was employed by Thomasville Furniture Company for many years until it closed.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, LD and Mary Hanna; and an older brother, John Davis Hanna.

He is survived by a son, Johnta (Tonya) Hanna; brother, LD Hanna, Jr. of the city; sisters, Alice Hanna of Bridgeport, CT, Gloria Archie of the city and Juliette Hanna Kennedy of Greensboro, NC; nephews, Bruce Hanna of Memphis, TN, Antonio Hanna of the city, James Miller of the city, Raymond (Lashaunda) Hanna of VA, Rodney (Conception) Miller of the city, Raymond (Shabrena) Keith Hanna of AZ, Terrell (Lashanda) Hanna of Greensboro, NC and Gregory (Teresa) Johnson of the city; nieces, Amancia Hanna and Denna Hanna of MD; many beloved great and great- great nephews and nieces; and a host of many cousins; a friend since childhood, Gregory Cundiff; and other special friends, Edith Moore and Dorothy Patterson.

Viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Monday, May 13, 2024 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30am Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 11:30am on Tuesday at the Chapel.
