Obituary

Victor Dee Davidson, II was born on March 11, 1983, in Winston-Salem, NC to Victor & Delphine Davidson. He peacefully transitioned from his earthly home to his eternal home on July 29, 2023, He leaves behind the most important loves of his life, wife, Crystal; and children, Victor "Trey" and Kennedi.

He is also survived by his parents, Pastor and First Lady Victor and Delphine Davidson; a sister, Asha Davidson; a play brother, Derrick Bullock, who he cherished and loved dearly; his special niece, and nephew, Amiia & Messiah Davidson; father and mother-in-law, William and Wanda Powell; two godchildren, Teresa & Lewis "Tank" Green; special brothers, William (Ejasa) & Christopher (Lindsay) Powell; a host of aunts, uncles, cousins; adored aunt and cousins, Alice Hickman, Latina "TT" and Cedric "Ced"; devoted friends, Lewis "Buck" (Mary) Green, Cartier Young, Jasmine Mickens, and her children Silas, Jr. and Zoe Ross.

He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, Amos (Mary) Hickman and Leroy (Helen) Davidson; business partner/brother, Silas Ross, Sr.; aunts, Patricia Davidson and Bonnie Sue Hickman; and uncle, Edward Hickman.

To his friends and family he will always be remembered as Lil Vic, Porky, and Gerald Levert.

Victor Dee graduated from North Forsyth High School. He obtained his Bachelor's Degree from Ferrum College and received his Juris Doctorate from Penn State The Dickinson School of Law.  He passed the bar on his first try. During his time at Ferrum College, he met the love of his life Crystal.

Vic was a jack of all trades who had a passion for service. He co-founded Black Dollars, which he wanted to provide a platform to connect consumers with black businesses throughout the world. In 2020, Vic decided to combine fifteen plus years of experience with his business partner, Silas and founded D&R Construction. Their goal was to give customers the best home improvement projects they ever could imagine. At the time of his death, he was employed by Ace Avant.

Vic founded and led Iron Coalition in 2011, where he was known as Brother Esquire. He served on the executive board for twelve years. He enjoyed going on long peaceful rides and serving the community in charitable ways with his MC Brothers.

Vic loved football & it was his life. He started his football journey as a Tiny Viking, and then went on to play for North Forsyth High School and college football at Ferrum College. After college, Vic began his coaching career in Pennsylvania at Boiling Springs High School. He returned to Winston-Salem where he continued his coaching career with the Pfafftown Packers, South Fork Panthers, Kernersville Raiders, and final coaching Winston-Salem Tarheels, where he coached his son, Trey. For the last 4 years, he helped lead the teams to Local and State Championships.  Vic was an avid Penn State fan…….WE ARE!!!!!  PENN STATE!!!! & Philadelphia Eagles fan!!!!!! E-A-G-L-E-S…………Eagles!!!!  This is something he and his son loved and bonded over together.  Penn State & Eagles fans forever!

Trey was his pride & joy whom he loved dearly. Vic was Trey's #1 fan and pushed him in academics and sports. Vic was also the best Girl Dad, Cheer Dad, & Kennedi's best dancing partner.  He was Kennedi's best friend & calming force.  He loved her dearly.

Crystal was the love of his life and partner in crime.  If you knew Crystal and Vic, there was always an adventure to be had. They loved to travel, eat and drink together. Everyone dreamed of having a love story like theirs.  He was Her calmer, Her rock, Her life, Her EVERYTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, August 12, 2023 at St. Stephen Missionary Baptist Church.  Interment will follow in Gardens of Memory, Walkertown, NC. The family visitation will be held from 5:00pm until 7:00pm Friday, August 11, 2023 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
