Mrs. Verlie Baird, 86, passed away October 30, 2025.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Providence Baptist Church Building Fund in Verlie's honor.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 6, 2025 at Providence Baptist Church, Kernersville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Thursday at the Church. A family gathering will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon Friday, November 7, 2025 at Coefield Funeral Home, 501 W. Third Street, Weldon, NC 27890. Interment will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Weldon, NC.
