Obituary
On Saturday, November 26, 2011, Vencie Reaves Haney, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend, departed this life and went home to be with the Lord- God plucked a beautiful flower.
Mrs. Vencie Reaves Haney was born June 24, 1934 to Florie and Dunk Reaves of Horry County, SC.
She leaves to cherish her memories six daughters, Wanda (Ralph) Reese of Edgewood, MD, Eleanor Greene, Laura Neely, and Vera Brown all of Winston-Salem, NC, Jacqueline (Kenny) Lampkins of Hampton, VA, and Sandra Haney of Raleigh, NC; three sons, Donald, Ronald and Antonio Haney all of Winston-Salem, NC; 18 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; three brothers; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Friday, December 2, 2011 at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church with Reverend Cedric Crawford officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Friday at the Church.
