Obituary
Ms. Velvet Elaine Brown, daughter of Woodrow and the late Mary L. Brown was born June 27, 1967. She was called to her eternal home Monday, June 29, 2009 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center.
Velvet was educated in the WS/FSC and was a former member of Shiloh Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Stacy and Victoria Brown both of the home; two sisters, Mary Brown and Angela (Alan) Quick; three brothers, Randy (Karla), Dwayne (Cynthia), and Jason Brown; one grandchild, Stacy Brown, Jr.; her grandparents, Nathaniel and Mae Brown Allen; two devoted friends, Norman Graham and Alfred James; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 1pm Friday, July 3, 2009 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. The family visitation will be held from Noon until 1pm on Friday at the funeral home.
