Vartrinda Charnic Douglas Jones, 51, passed on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Wake Forest Baptist Health after a brief period of illness.  Vartrinda was born on September 23, 1969 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina to the late Larry Bailey and Sharon Scott. She graduated in the City of Swannanoa, North Carolina.

Vartrinda is married to Elijah Jones a devoted husband for 6 years in addition to 9 years of friendship.
She was a devoted member of First Church of God in Christ where she was born again and she served on the pastor's helpers committee and in the women's department. She will be missed by many.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home. Private services will be held Thursday, February 25, 2021.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.
