Ms. Valjean Harvey, 70, was born December 6, 1949 in Forsyth County, NC to Samuel Mickles Harvey and Dorothy Scales Harvey.  She departed this earthly life on August 30, 2020.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five siblings.

Left to cherish her memories are her brother, Barry (Margo) Harvey; nephew, Aaron Harvey; niece, Ashley Harvey; and a host of great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Private services will be held Friday, September 4, 2020.
