Ms. Ursula Denise Thompson, affectionately known to family and friends as Niecy, 48, of Winston-Salem, NC, passed away and grew her wings on Wednesday, October 7, 2020. She was born on June 20, 1972 to James Tatum and Effie Mae Thompson.

She was a caregiver for several years of many people and a member of St. Peters Church and World Outreach Center.

She leaves to cherish her memory, one daughter, Miss Tor'Sanya Mills; two sons, Rodney D. Mills, Jr. and Tyrone M. Forbes, Jr.; six grandchildren, Miss Daliah A. Mills, Master Christian Mills, Belief Conrad, Camry Mock, Kha'moni Battles and Tyrik Jordan; her mother, Effie Thompson; two sisters, Angela Teague and Theresa Thompson; a brother, William "Billy" Thompson; an aunt, Carolyn White; and host of nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 14, 2020.
