Ursula McFadden, of 3509 Plaza Hollow Drive, was a native of Herne, Germany born October 10, 1941 to Herta Wilhelmine Emma Nitschmann and Walter Edmund Speckens. She moved to Winston-Salem, NC in 1986, where she was employed by Wake Forest Baptist Hospital until shortly before her passing. Ursula was an extremely thoughtful and caring person whose lasting impact spans both Germany and the United States. She touched countless lives and the many lessons she taught us will positively affect generations to come. For those of us blessed to count Ursula as a friend, we can attest to her honesty, humor and dependability. While she will be deeply missed we take solace in that she left us in the same fashion in which she lived her life, on her own terms.
