Mr. Ulysses Fee was born February 1, 1919 in Catawba, SC. He departed his life on December 23, 2012. He was the ninth child of eleven children born to the late Leroy and Mary Kirkland Fee.
Ulysses left SC and moved to Winston-Salem, NC. From there he joined the service. After spending time traveling overseas for four and a half years, he returned to W-S, NC. He worked for seven years before moving to Baltimore, MD. He was employed by WR Grace for a while; but he loved working with his hands and fixing things, so he operated a Shell Service Station and worked very hard at pleasing his customers. Ulysses really enjoyed fishing and spent many days sailing the Chesapeake Bay in his boat with his friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Mason Fee; and ten siblings.
Surviving are many nieces, nephews, and cousins; his God-child, Asbear Hatcher; his helpful friend, Willie (Buck) Frost; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12noon Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Thursday at the Chapel.
The family would like to give special thanks to the Staff of Loch Raven Community Living Center of Baltimore, MD.
