Tyshun Tavares Frazier was born in Winston-Salem, NC on May 7, 1979 to Henry "Richard" Sherill of Cleveland, NC and Elizabeth "Libby" Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC.  He suddenly entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 at Novant Health Kernersville Medical Center.

Tyshun attended school in Forsyth County and graduated from Glenn High School Class of 1997.  He continued his education and completed UNC Greensboro Class of 2002.  He furthered his education at Grand Canyon University and obtained a Master of Science in Professional Counseling and a Master of Science in Addiction Counseling.  Professionally he was a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist, and a National Certified Counselor.  Tyshun enjoyed and dedicated himself to the counseling of children and others, dealing specifically in trauma, addiction, marriage, and families.

Tyshun Frazier, MS, LCASA, LCMHCA, NCC, was currently employed with Creative Counseling & Wellness Center Corporation and Better Help Online Therapy, which was dedicated to those in need of mental health and addiction therapy.  His past experiences was with The Children's Home and Kingswood School.

Tyshun was preceded in death by his father.

His memories will be cherished by his loving mother, Elizabeth Frazier; two brothers, Issac Frazier of Clayton, NC and Dana Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC; three sisters, Sonya (Cliff) Arnold of Mocksville, NC, Tampra Frazier and Mynika (Nico) Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC; a special nephew, Shunta Frazier of Winston-Salem, NC; a host of nieces and nephews; close friends throughout his life including, Byrun (Tiant) Lewis, Kelly (Chub) Reeves, Kiana Hairston and 3 Godchildren, Nicole Stevenson and 2 Godchildren, Lartisa Allen, April Gonzalez; other family members and many other friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, November 25, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00noon Saturday, November 26, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12:00noon on Saturday at the Chapel.
