Master Tristan Donell Mathews, Jr. was brought to us on August 2, 2007 and was called home by our Lord on November 13, 2007.

Preceding Junior in his homecoming was his maternal grandmother, Laurie Jean Mickens.

Leaving to cherish his precious memories are his loving mother and father of the home, Tyaisha L. Mickens and Tristan Donell Mathews, Sr.; his maternal grandfather, Robert Bolling; paternal grandparents, Monique A. Mathews and Herbert "Bo" (Lisa) Kelly all of Winston-Salem, NC; great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Mickens, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Mathews, and Mr. and Mrs. Clay Bryan; a host of loving aunts and uncles, Anthony M. (Tyree) Mickens, Michelle T. Mickens, Derrica A. Mathews, Timothy T. Mathews, Denise Mathews, Sheree (Levar) Kearse, Michelle (Charles) Odom, Sharon Mickens, and Renee (Marcus) Mickens; and a host of other dear relatives and family friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 16, 2007 from the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11:30 am until 12noon on Saturday at the Chapel. The family will also be receiving friends from the home of the Kearse Family, 3566 Thornaby Circle, Winston-Salem, NC 27101 where condolences can be sent as well.
