Trevia T. Blackwell was born December 19, 1965 to Veleria Blackwell and the late Jerry G. Johnson both of the city. Known as "TRUCK", God chose to pluck a beautiful flower out of his garden on January 20, 2015.

She leaves memories to cherish with her sons, Calvin and Darryl Blackwell of the city; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A homegoing celebration will be held at 12noon Friday, January 30, 2015 at Hanes Memorial CME Church, 819 N. Highland Ave. W-S, NC 27101 with Reverend Clarence Cox, III officiating and Elder KaRon Blackwell eulogist. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 11am until 12noon on Friday at the Church.
