Trayvon Donell McDaniel, known to his friends as "Tre Love", ascended to his heavenly father on July 17, 2011. Trayvon was born in Winston-Salem, North Carolina on September 4, 1988 to Craig Malcolm (Linda) and Tonya Denise McDaniel. Trayvon attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School System attending Glenn, Carver, and North Forsyth High Schools.
He was preceded in death by his great-grandfather, Walter Ray, Jr.
In addition to his parents, he leaves to cherish his memories and celebrate his life his brother, Troy Davon Foster; sister, Crayola DiAnn McDaniel; step-brother, Perry Tyrone Wilson Jr.; his only son, Me'chi Nazeer Barrett and his mother, Amanda; his great-grandmother, Clemetine Ray; grandfathers, James Emanuel Ray and Moses Isaiah McDaniel (Laverne); grandmothers, Carolyn Elaine Shouse (Ralph), Salley Mae McDaniel and Helen T. Grant (Perry Tyrone Wilson Sr.); he was blessed with a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and treasured by many friends and church family.
Funeral services will be held at 6pm Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Union Baptist Church with Reverend Dr. Sir Walter Mack Jr. officiating. The family visitation will be held from 5pm until 6pm on Sunday at the Church.
