Tramona Sharice Edwards of Winston Salem, transitioned from earth to our heavenly Father September 6, 2024, at Willow Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation following a period of illness due injuries sustained from a car accident. She was born on October 31, 1992, to Mr. Cedric Edwards and Ms. Mona Oakes in Winston Salem, NC.

Tramona was a graduate of RJ Reynolds High School. Tramona will be remembered for her infectious energy, quick wit, and her love for caring for others and love for cheering. She worked in the healthcare field as a CNA for various health facilities.

Tramona was preceded in death by a devoted grandmother and aunt who was a very integral part of her raising, Mrs. Iveria Oakes-Shuler and Mrs. Vernice Hardy Westmoreland; paternal grandparents, Mr. Bill Winfield and Mrs. Doretha P Edwards; maternal grandfather, Mr. David L Oakes; aunt, Mrs. Barbara O. Brown; two uncles, Kinard and Linard Oakes; and special cousin, Jermaine Oakes.

Tramona leaves to cherish her memories three children, Sa'ny Elder, Jermaine Webster, and Dior Gray; her parents, Mr. Cedric Edwards and Ms. Mona Oakes; siblings, Cedric Edwards, Jr. and Douglas Edwards; uncles, Jackie (Shay) Hardy, David (Gyda) Oakes, and Charlie Oakes; devoted cousins, Shamika and Zion Hardy; special friends, Corey Shakir, Gigi Johnson and Deymonica Folly; as well as a host of cousins and many friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30pm Wednesday, September 25, 2024 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.  The family visitation will be held from 10:30 am util 12:30pm on Wednesday at the Chapel.
