Mr. Torrez D-mario Anthony of 2124 Sage Meadows Drive was born April 26, 1985 in Winston-Salem, NC to Carolyn Anthony Bailey. He peacefully made his transition into eternal life on November 18, 2017.

Torrez attended the local public schools and graduated with his degree in 2001.

Torrez was an inspiring artist and entrepreneur. He was a community activist, inspiring author, musician, poet and a leader.

Torrez was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Betty E. Anthony; and maternal aunt, Vanessa Huling.

He leaves to celebrate his life and legacy, his loving fiancé Shonika Lyerly and two precious step-daughters, Diamond and Irie of the home; his loyal and devoted mother, Carolyn (Bernard) Bailey; one brother, his gentle giant, Nicholas Anthony; one sister, his mini me, Kaneika Williams; paternal grandmother, Jennifer Coston; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12noon Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Lester Boyd officiating.  Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens.  The family visitation will be held from 11:00am until 12noon on Saturday at the Church.
