Toriyana Deshai Gaskins "Tori", 20, was born December 29, 2001 in Winston-Salem, NC. She passed away unexpectedly March 6, 2022.

She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Shelton Penn and James Dubose.

Left to cherish precious memories are her mother, Mrs. LaShonda (Patrick) Lewis; her father, Toran Gaskins; her sisters, Adriena Norwood-King, Erica D. Lewis, Breiana Six, Julieanna Davis, and Naimm Smith; her brother, Aldonte S. Johnson; grandmothers, Yolanda Lewis and Sheila Gaskins; her great grandfather, Willie Penn; nieces, Alaina Johnson and Promise King; nephews, Terrell Lewis, Joshua Paige, and Norwood King, IV; two aunts, Jamestris Dubose and Tiffany Bellamy; two uncles, James Dubose and Jerry Baxter, Jr.; four great aunts; one great uncle; one special aunt close to her heart, Mrs. Patricia (Charles) Rice; a special uncle, Ernest Dubose; her very special friend, Sir Winston Johnson; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Friday, March 11, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Middlefork Christian Church with Pastor Anderson Hicks, III officiating. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11:00am on Saturday at the Church.
