Tori Jamond Cody, 27, departed this life on Wednesday February 2, 2011. He was employed by Forsyth Technical Community College as a Computer Science Instructor.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Booker and Madgalene Cody; and a brother, Samuel J. Cody II.
He is survived by his wife, Ashley R. Cody; his parents, Samuel and Maria Cody; his sister, Danielle (Ivan) Jones; maternal grandparents, Willie Giles and Mae Petree; father-in-law, Donald Shepherd Sr. (Tammy); mother-in-law, Senceria K.Cruse; a niece-Goddaughter, Laila N. Jones; and a nephew, Micah A. Jones; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Monday February 7, 2011 at Greater Cleveland Avenue Christian Church with Bishop Sheldon M. McCarter officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 1:30pm until 2:30pm on Monday at the Church.
