Obituary
Toni Marie McDade-Williams departed this life on Friday, October 25, 2013. She was born in Alabaster, AL, on April 2, 1956 to John Allen McDade, Sr. and Jessie Mae Sawyer.
She was a teacher in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Public School System.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and Godmother, Dr. Marian H. Whitson; and two brothers, John McDade, Jr. and Sonnett Rowell.
Surviving to cherish her memory are her five children, Shomari Thompson (Astrid), Shari Williams, Tanisha Williams, Takisha Williams and John Williams; four grandchildren, Lamon Dawson, Tianna Thompson, Dalaisha Williams, and Jalani Williams; three sisters, Jessie Bailey, Shirley Carter and Glinda Reed (Roosevelt); two brothers, Clarence McDade (Kimberly) and Roderick McDade; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 6pm Thursday, October 31, 2013 at Union Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8pm on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home.
