Toney W. Fields, born June 6, 1966 in Rawlings, VA, departed this life unexpectedly on December 24, 2017. At an early age, Toney joined Hickory Run Baptist Church in Rawlings, VA and later joined Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church in Winston-Salem, NC. Toney attended Brunswick County Public Schools and was a devoted employee of Sheetz, Inc.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gracie C. Fields; brother, Carl Fields; and grandmother, Gracie Jones-Fields.

He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Samantha Fields; sons, Brandon and Antoine; brothers, Mark Fields and Jerry Fields; aunt, Annie (Ronald) Mayo; uncles, Clarence Fields Jr. and Fabian (Tesha) Fields; mother-in-law, Sue Cook; and a host of family and friends.

A celebration of Toney's life will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Phillips Chapel Missionary Baptist Church, 132 N. Glenn Ave. W-S, NC.  Interment will follow in Woodland Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12:30pm until 1:00pm on Saturday at the Church.
