Mrs. Tina Louise Nicholson-Neely was born to Lizzie Lee Nicholson and the late Grady Lee Nicholson Sr. in Richmond County, NC on October 3, 1967. She departed this life May 13, 2021.

A resident of Winston-Salem, NC Tina graduated from Parkland High School and was employed by Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center for more than 25 years.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sister, Josephine McDonald.

Tina leaves to cherish her loving memory her mother, Ms. Lizzie Nicholson; one son, Jamar D. Nicholson; a husband, Robert Neely; Goddaughter, Tecoya "Coco" Pugh; two brothers, Ed Nicholson and Grady Nicholson Jr. both of WS, NC; three sisters, Debra (Clyde) Jones of Brooklyn, NY, Carrie (Robert) Nicholson-Patterson and Barbara (Reginald) France-Jeter both of WS, NC; five nieces, Keymonia Nicholson, Rache' Miller, and Glentiece Hill of WS, NC and Tiffany and Lauren Jones of Brooklyn, NY; six nephews, Dayton McDonald, Jevon Nicholson, Jaemond Nicholson, Christopher McDonald, and Tashawn Jeter of WS, NC and Brandon Jones of Brooklyn, NY; three uncles, Eddie McDonald, Donnie Ray (Debra) McDonald, and Joseph (Trisha) Harrington of Richmond County, NC; longtime family friend, Sheila Gregory (Boochie) and a host of great nieces and nephews.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 6:00pm Friday, May 21, 2021 at Russell Funeral Home.

Private funeral services will be held Saturday, May 22, 2021. Interment will follow in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens.
