Timothy James Moses, 57, was born January 2, 1956 to Paul and Ella Mae Moses. He peacefully departed this world on Sunday, January, 6, 2013.

After attending R.J. Reynolds High School, Timothy served in the United States Army, where he received an honorable discharge.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents; his late wife, Sandra Hampton Moses; and his son-in-law, Ronald Robeson, Sr.

Timothy is survived by his wife, Lisa Cuthbertson Moses; his children: Tanishia Johnson, Chiffon Robeson, Timothy Sherrod Moses, Timronto (Karima) Lane, Tameka Moses, Kyra Gaines, and Anthony Williams; his siblings: Paul (Lavonia) Moses Jr., Ethel Hines, Kenneth (Jane) Moses, David Moses, Judy (William) Gary, Benjamin Moses, Pamela Moses, Katie Moore, and Valerie (Nathan Brown); twelve grandchildren, several aunts and uncles, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and lifelong friends.

Funeral services will be held at 11am Friday, January 11, 2013 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC. The family visitation will be held from 10:30am until 11am on Friday at the Chapel.
