Mr. Timothy Hunt, Jr., affectionately known to family and friends as "Tim," was born in Albany, GA to Timothy Hunt, Sr. and the late Juanita Brown, on December 13, 1959.

Timothy departed this life on July 28, 2010, with family members surrounding his bedside.

He was a graduate of Jordan High School in Columbus, GA. "Tim" moved to Winston-Salem in 1990 and was employed in several Winston-Salem restaurants including Mayberry Restaurant on Jonestown Rd.

"Tim" loved people and never met a stranger. He enjoyed cooking for and entertaining friends and family. Tucker (his dog) was considered one of his best friends.

Timothy was preceded in death by his mother; his brother, Darryl Glenn; and his grandparents.

"Tim" is survived by his father; one uncle, Thomas Floyd of Winston-Salem, NC; one aunt, Sarah McClendon (Walter) of Macon, GA; two sisters, Jowanda Sanders (Bernard Foster, Jr.) of Winston-Salem, NC and Tinnetta Hunt of Columbus, GA; a niece, Denisha Hunt of Columbus, GA; three nephews, Xavier Hunt of Columbus, GA, Darryl Glenn, and Broderick Moore of Winston-Salem, NC; his best friend, William Washington and many other friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, August 2, 2010 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Bobby Wilson officiating. Interment will follow in Piedmont Memorial Gardens. The family visitation will be held from 12Noon until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
