Obituary

Timothy G. Crump, 64, passed away June 5, 2015 after battling Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma. He was born February 13, 1951 in Raleigh, NC.

Tim devoted his life to service; be it protecting our great nation throughout his 27 year career with the US Air Force, protecting our youth through owning, operating, and teaching martial arts at his Royal Tigers Tae Kwon Do Academy, or protecting the future through the establishment of the Master Crump's KICK Foundation. The KICK Foundation is dedicated to sponsoring positive afterschool activities for at-risk youth. Tim always thought of how he could use the life he was given in servitude to those around him.

Tim enjoyed his family, his dogs, his extensive Tae Kwon Do family, and spending time with the Lord. In his spare time he enjoyed riding his motorcycle with the Greensboro Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club. His life was a true testament of passion, service, and loyalty.

Tim was preceded in death by his father, Willie Plase Crump; and mother, Clara McLean Crump.

He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene Chrismon Crump; daughters, Nikko Alicia Crump of Raleigh, NC, Tamara Re'nee Crump of Raleigh, NC, and Leah Banner Poole of Asheville, NC; his sons, Matthew Bruce Fowler of Atlanta, GA and Barry Lee Partridge of Winston Salem, NC; three grandchildren, Taylor Marie Crump, Devion Maurice Crump, and Damien AG Crump-Clarke; honor is given to the mother of his children, Frances Darden Crump; his Grandmaster, Myong Mayes; and all of the students, masters and Grandmasters who shared his life. Crump found great pride in his family and his Tae Kwon Do family. No greater honor can be repaid than to model our future from his teachings. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and the community.

Services will be held at 2pm Sunday, June 14, 2015 at Grace Community Church, 643 Gate City Boulevard, Greensboro, NC.
