Thomas T. Jefferson, Jr. was born August 18, 1931 to Zetta and Thomas Jefferson, Sr.  He passed away peacefully on Monday, February 28, 2022 at Village Care of King.

Thomas graduated from Atkins High School Class of 1948.  He served in the US Army for two years.  Thomas graduated from Johnson C. Smith University and was very active and involved in many school activities.  Thomas taught many years at A&T State University and from there he retired.

Thomas was a very faithful member of the Grace Presbyterian Church family for over 30 years.  He served on the Rainbow of Friends Club as Co-chairman.  He also sung with the Gospel Choir.  He was instrumental in encouraging young men to join the Eagle Scouts.  Thomas also filled in as the Church Secretary for about two years, which was a tremendous help to the church.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Fond memories shall be cherished by his cousins, Bernard and Beverly Wallace; extended family, church family, and friends.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at Grace Presbyterian Church.
