Mr. Thomas "Pops" Harrison, Sr., 86, was born March 8, 1928 in Reidsville, NC to Sammie Joe and Nettie Bell Neal Harrison. He departed this life on May 12, 2014.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers; 2 sisters; and his son, Minister Robert Harrison, Sr.

Left to cherish his loving memories are his wife of 67 years, Virginia P. Harrison; 8 sons, Thomas, Jr., Chester, Paul, Charles, Jerry, Adolph, Larry, and Walter "Doug" Harrison; 1 daughter, Regina "Gina" Linney; 47 grandchildren; 65 great grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Bertha, Catherine, and Nettie Sue; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2pm Saturday, May 17, 2014 at Benaja Mt. Zion Holiness Church of God, Inc., 600 McWalker Rd. Reidsville, NC. Interment will follow in Union Grove Congregational Church Cemetery McLeansville, NC. The family visitation will be held from 1pm until 2pm on Saturday at the Church. A local visitation will be held from 6pm until 8pm on Friday evening May 16, 2014 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
