To God Be The Glory!

Early on Resurrection Sunday morning, around 6:00am, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ called our dearly beloved Thomas Henry Durham to "come on up a little higher my child and get your reward!"  Thomas was born in Forsyth County, NC on June 29, 1964.  He attended the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system.  He served in the United States Marine Corps for several years where he received an honorable discharge after which he continued to serve as a Detention Officer.

He met and married the love of his life, Christina B.  God allowed them 26 years of marital bliss together.

Mr. Durham was preceded in death by his son, Thomas K. Durham; mother-in-law, Annie Lancaster; aunts, Carrie Hanna, Catherine Kale, and Etta Singletary; uncles, Roosevelt Bryant, Heyward Singletary, Benjamin Fulmore, Willette Kale, and Simon Singletary; and a brother-in-law, Calvin Gantt.

Mr. Durham is survived by his loving wife, Mrs. Christina B. Durham; two daughters, Jasmine Durham of Winston-Salem, NC and Chelsea Bryant of Atlanta, GA; grandson, Cameron Durham, affectionately known as "Buddy" to him and his granddaughter, Gianna Durham both of Winston-Salem, NC; father-in-law, Timothy Lancaster of Winston-Salem, NC; brothers-in-law, Heyward "Al" Wilson of Winston-Salem, NC and Henry Wilson of Texas City, TX; sisters-in-law, Flora Gantt of Rural Hall, NC, Sandra Wilson and Teresa Wilson both of Winston-Salem, NC; aunts, Rosa Fulmore, Dorothy Brown, and Wilhelmena Bryant all of Lake City, SC, Mable (Larry) Fulmore and Tootie Singletary both of Miami, FL; uncles, Jimmy Singletary and Randolph Bryant both of Lake City, SC, and John Singletary of Miami, FL; a special friend, Tony Johnson of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

A viewing will be held from 1:00pm until 5:00pm Thursday, April 21, 2022 at Russell Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00am Friday, April 22, 2022 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend William C. Brown officiating.  Interment will be held at 10:00am Monday, April 25, 2022 in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC.
