Thomas D. Baker "Dannyboy", 57, departed this earthly life on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Wake Forest University/Baptist Medical Center following a period of illness.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Baker; and his father, Thomas Baker "T.R."
Thomas leaves to cherish his memories his loving mother, Ann Baker; his daughters, Bernita, Shanica, and Sabrina (Maurice); ten grandchildren; one sister, Diane; three brothers, Wayne (Sheralee), William, and Tony (Melanie); one devoted aunt and uncle, Lorraine and Ray Gentry; and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Services and interment will be held at 12noon Friday, July 30, 2010 at Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, NC with full military honors. A family visitation will be held from 10am until 10:30am Friday morning at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel.
