Mr. Terry Lee Palmer, son of the late Melvin and Beetie Palmer, was born March 25, 1970 in Forsyth County, NC.



Terry was educated in the Forsyth County Public School System, graduating from North Forsyth High School in 1988. He attended Fayetteville State University and The University of North Carolina, Charlotte.



Terry's employment record spans many years at various hotel chains. At the time of his demise, he was employed with Select Staffing Services.



Terry departed this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2012. He will be truly missed by his family and friends alike.



He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Albert and Gladys Palmer; maternal grandparents; uncles, Lindy and Curtis Palmer; and one aunt, Ruth Sims.



Surviving to cherish his memory are one brother, Melvin Palmer, Jr. (Michelle); two nephews, Ryan Palmer and Brendan Palmer, of Winston-Salem, NC; four uncles, Albert Palmer, Ira Palmer, Carl Scales (Lydia) all of Winston-Salem, NC, and Leon Scales (Scarlet) of Kernersville, NC; four aunts, Gloria P. Roseboro, Dorothy Manigault (David), Naomi Miles (Jerrold) all of Winston-Salem, NC and Christine Hunt-Webb (Ronald) of Snellville, GA; and a host of great uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends.



Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00pm Monday, October 22, 2012 at the Russell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James F. Linville officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family visitation will be held from 12noon until 1:00pm on Monday at the Chapel.
